Aluminum extrusions for LED strips can be installed in various ways, including surface mounting with clips or screws, recessed fittings in drywall or furniture, or suspension with cables.
Wide Deep Aluminum Channel Features:
High quality 1715 aluminum profile is specially made to be routed into wood panels, drywall or other substrates. Plastic covers used with this extrusion create a bright frosted glow edge effect that is ideal for ambient lighting. The profile is designed to house strip lights up to a width of 0.472441 (12mm). Aluminum extrusions serve as heat sinks to effectively dissipate heat to the surroundings, in turn increasing the life of LEDs. It can be used for standard custom applications that require a slim, rigid lighting solution.
